Technologieakzeptanz von virtuellen Lern- und Arbeitsumgebungen in technischen Domänen

Abstract

Im beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildungsbereich werden mit der Nutzung virtueller Umgebungen (Virtual Reality, kurz VR) vielfältige Potentiale verbunden, um Lern- und Arbeitsprozesse zu optimieren. Bislang ist aber noch wenig über die tatsächliche Akzeptanz der VR Technologie in technischen Domänen bekannt. Die vorliegende hypothesenprüfende Studie geht hierzu der Frage nach, inwiefern die theoretischen Annahmen des „Technology Acceptance Model“ (TAM) die Nutzungsintention zur VR Technologie von Beschäftigten in technischen Domänen erklärt. Die Befunde des aufgestellten Strukturgleichungsmodells zur Aufklärung der Varianz der Nutzungsintention (R² = 0.354) belegen erwartungskonform positive Zusammenhänge zwischen der wahrgenommenen Nützlichkeit und der Nutzungsintention sowie der wahrgenommenen Benutzerfreundlichkeit und der Nutzungsintention. Weiterhin zeigen die Studienergebnisse, dass Personen, die Erfahrung mit der VR Technologie haben, die wahrgenommene Nützlichkeit und die Nutzungsintention signifikant höher bewerten als Personen ohne Erfahrung mit der VR Technologie.
