Abstract

Within the project OpenDigiMedia, an online learning platform about digitisation in production was developed to open up universities. On the platform, new learning concepts, which use digital materials in a virtual learning environment, were tested. The project addressed employees on the production level and adult and further education institutions in Lower Saxony. Existing materials were modified under an OER-licence to provide basic content for digitisation. For this purpose, a didactic concept has been developed, which combines aspects of didactics of technology and didactics of media. The evaluation has shown, that the concept is suitable for teaching the basics, but that teaching of action competencies is limited.
